Margarita Cheesecake
- 1 1/4 cups vanilla wafer or chocolate cake crumbs
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- (3) 8 ounce packages cream cheese, at room temperature
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons Gran Manier
- 3 tablespoons Gold Tequila
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 teaspoons grated lime zest
- 4 large eggs
- Very thin lime slices to be used a garnish
Directions:
Set oven temperature to 350°. Mix crumbs and butter until blended.
Press into bottom of a 9 inch spring pan. Refrigerate.
Mix cream cheese until smooth. Add 1 cup of sour cream, 1 cup of sugar. Add liquors, lime juice and zest. Add eggs one at a time until well blended.
Pour into crust. Bake until center is softly set (about 50 minutes). Maintain oven temperature.
Mix remaining sour cream and sugar. Pour over cheesecake and bake for another 5 minutes. Cool completely. Garnish with lime slices, if desired. |
