Employee SPOT Awards

This new program of employee recognition began in June of 2009. The program is directed to those employees who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. It focuses on one-time achievement, like a superb compliment given or an outstanding noticeable action performed, rather than sustained performance over a period of time. An award is given to each employee who receives a Spot award. After each calendar year, the top three SPOT actions, voted on by staff and management, will be honored and rewarded as well. The motto of the program is “Get caught–being GOOD!”

Design Award of Special Recognition

The Society of Registered Architects recently held and event at the Knowlton Mansion. Jack and Beth Conroy were on hand to receive an award for Knowlton Mansion’s Restoration and Adaptive Reuse. Steve Melchiore of Portraits to Remember has painted a portrait of Knowlton Mansion for Conroy Catering and we thought our clients may be interested in purchasing one of their own. An 8x10 portrait in an 11x14 matted frame is only $35.00!  If you would like the portrait personalized with your name and event date, the price is $38.00!

Riverside Conservatory Addition to Glen Foerd Mansion

Conroy Catering is pleased to announce that our New Riverside Conservatory has been erected at Glen Foerd Mansion. Clients and potential clients who have already visited the Riverside Conservatory have been amazed by its beauty. With a roof designed to match the mansion’s facade and clear sidewalls, the conservatory integrates beautifully with the surroundings and allows you and your guests to enjoy the spectacular river vistas in both good weather and bad.  
 
The new brick and flagstone terraces are truly spectacular! The new spacious conservatory (almost 4000 square feet) also provides more space for your band or DJ to set-up while offering additional seating for guests. Your Catering Consultant will be happy to discuss the new options with you at your Details Meeting, a few months prior to your event.
