Hystiocytosis Association's Fundraiser
Thanks to everyone who supported the Histiocytosis Association's (www.histio.org) fundraiser for Aiden Coyne on October 15, 2005 at Knowlton Mansion. In just 4 hours, over $28,000 was raised for research and to fund medical treatment to help the little children afflicted with the disease. A special thanks to our business associates for their generous donations: US Foods, Haefele Flanagan & Co., Altomonte’s Market, Rueter Insurance, and GMG Insurance Agency.

Fox Chase Champions Christmas Party

On December 13, 2005, the Fox Chase Champions held their annual Christmas Party at the Knowlton Mansion. The guests enjoyed a delicious buffet of food and danced the day away to holiday music. There were also special appearances by the Phillie Phanatic and Santa Claus who gave out presents to all of the children. Conroy Catering staff members graciously volunteered their time to work this event and Stanley Marvel made a donation to the menu.

The Fox Chase Champions are a non-profit organization formed to provide recreational opportunities for mentally and physically challenged children between the ages of 4 and 21. The program started in 1993 to address the needs of families and their special children who have various physical and mental disabilities. These children have disabilities such as Downs Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Blindness and Attention Deficit Disorder.

The Champions program provides these children with the opportunity to develop dexterity and mobility skills along with teamwork and a sense of sportsmanship. The program encourages the children to apply new skills to their daily living experiences.
